Something's in the water

In general, I’m pretty tolerant, until I’m not.
I hate scoffing.  It’s one of the most common reactions I get either from customers or from my family.
The Scenario is as follows.  I’m asked a question,  where something is, or how it works, and then “the look”, either of disbelief or indignation.
Why then do people ask, I query to myself knowing the answer is that it  gives them the opportunity to discount or show disdain for the result.
And that is how they justify not having taken the time or energy to find it out themselves.
 Fuck that noise.

He feels like a tourist

We have made progress. But, there are going to be setbacks, and sometimes, they are going to bring us almost to the beginning.  In short, as fun as a game of Chutes and Ladders.

Mocking shadows

A bitter pill I am swallowing today.  I can feel it in my facial muscles, I’m all pruned up, pursed ready to spew.
Oh, I know, the world is not a fair place, compared to others, my life is easy peasy lemon breezy.
Sure.
When my Grandmother died, we went to this bakery to get food for sitting Shiva.  Two of the women there, had concentration camp tattoos.
